Yes! You can upgrade your VPS resources at any time with no downtime. Upgrades take effect immediately.

How to upgrade:

  1. Login to your client area
  2. Go to "Services" → "My Services"
  3. Click on your VPS service
  4. Click "Upgrade/Downgrade"
  5. Select your new plan and confirm

What can be upgraded:

  • CPU cores
  • RAM
  • SSD storage
  • Bandwidth allocation

You'll be billed the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle.

Domain Names

Registering a domain with PDTHosting is easy:

  1. Visit our Domain Pricing page
  2. Search for your desired domain name
  3. Select available domain extensions (.com, .net, .org, etc.)
  4. Add to cart and complete checkout
  5. Configure DNS settings (or use our default nameservers)

Important Notes:

  • Domain registration is typically instant
  • Domain names are registered for 1-10 years (you choose)
  • All domains include free WHOIS privacy protection
  • Domains are non-refundable once registered

Need help choosing a domain? Consider: keep it short, make it memorable, use relevant keywords, and avoid hyphens/numbers when possible.

Transferring your domain to PDTHosting is a straightforward process:

  1. Prepare at Current Registrar:
    • Unlock your domain
    • Get the authorization code (EPP code)
    • Disable WHOIS privacy (temporarily)
  2. Initiate Transfer with PDTHosting:
    • Visit our Domain Transfer page
    • Enter your domain name and authorization code
    • Complete the checkout process
  3. Approve Transfer:
    • Check your email for transfer confirmation
    • Approve the transfer (usually within 5-7 days)

Requirements:

  • Domain must be at least 60 days old
  • Domain must be unlocked at current registrar
  • You must have the authorization code
  • Domain must not be expired or pending deletion

Transfers typically complete within 5-7 days. We'll handle the entire process for you!

Billing & Payments

We accept the following payment methods:

To cancel your service:

  1. Login to your Client Area
  2. Go to "Services" → "My Services"
  3. Click on the service you want to cancel
  4. Click "Request Cancellation"
  5. Select cancellation type:
    • Immediate: Ends service immediately
    • End of Billing Period: Continues until paid period ends
  6. Provide reason and submit

Important:

  • Back up all your data before cancellation
  • Domain registrations continue until expiration
  • Refunds only apply within 30-day guarantee period
  • Data is permanently deleted 7 days after cancellation

You can update your billing information in your client area:

  1. Login to your Client Area
  2. Go to "Billing" → "Payment Methods"
  3. Click "Add New Payment Method" or edit existing
  4. Enter new payment details
  5. Set as default if desired

To update contact/billing address:

  1. Go to "Account Details" → "Contacts/Sub-Accounts"
  2. Edit your primary contact information
  3. Update address, phone, and email
  4. Save changes

Important Notes:

  • Keep billing information current to avoid service interruption
  • You'll receive email notifications before payment attempts
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
