1. Policy Overview

At PDTHosting, we're committed to providing high-quality web hosting services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds, credits, and cancellations for our services.

By purchasing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy in its entirety.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

2.1 Shared Hosting Plans

New customers are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase date for shared hosting plans only. To qualify for a refund:

  • You must be a first-time customer of the specific service
  • The refund request must be made within 30 days of the initial purchase
  • You must not have violated our Terms of Service
  • You must submit a refund request through our billing department

2.2 Non-Refundable Services

The following services are NOT eligible for refunds:

  • Domain name registrations, renewals, and transfers
  • SSL certificates
  • Dedicated server plans
  • VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting plans
  • Reseller hosting plans
  • Setup fees and administrative fees
  • Any add-on services or products
  • Services purchased during promotional periods with "no refund" terms

Important Note

Domain names are registered with third-party registries and cannot be refunded once registered. SSL certificates are also non-refundable as they are issued by Certificate Authorities immediately upon purchase.

4.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Login to your Client Area
  • Navigate to "Billing" → "Support Tickets"
  • Submit a new ticket to the Billing Department
  • Include your account details and reason for refund request
  • Alternatively, email billing@pdthosting.com

4.2 Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days

5. Service Cancellations

5.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel services at any time through your client area:

  • Login to your Client Area
  • Go to "Services" → "My Services"
  • Click on the service you wish to cancel
  • Click "Request Cancellation"
  • Select cancellation type and reason
  • Submit the cancellation request

5.2 Cancellation Types

  • Immediate Cancellation: Service ends immediately, no refund for unused time
  • End of Billing Period: Service continues until the end of paid period, then cancels

5.3 Data Retention After Cancellation

Upon cancellation, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted after 7 days. We strongly recommend backing up all your data before requesting cancellation.

Data Backup Responsibility

You are solely responsible for backing up your data. PDTHosting is not responsible for any data loss resulting from service cancellation. Once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

6. Exceptions & Special Cases

6.1 Service Interruptions

If we fail to meet our Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 99.9% uptime, you may be eligible for service credits as outlined in our SLA, not monetary refunds.

6.2 Billing Errors

If you believe you have been billed in error, contact our billing department within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and make appropriate adjustments if an error occurred.

6.3 Chargebacks

Chargebacks (disputes filed with your payment provider) will result in immediate suspension of all services and a $25 administrative fee. We reserve the right to dispute unjustified chargebacks.

Chargeback Policy

Instead of filing a chargeback, please contact our billing department to resolve any billing issues. Chargebacks incur additional fees and may result in permanent suspension of services.

6.4 Promotional Offers

Services purchased during promotional periods may have different refund terms stated at the time of purchase. Please review promotional terms carefully.

7. Service Credits

7.1 Credit Eligibility

In certain situations, we may issue service credits instead of monetary refunds:

  • Downgrading services mid-cycle
  • Service interruptions exceeding SLA thresholds
  • Proactive goodwill gestures for service issues

7.2 Credit Usage

Service credits can be applied to future invoices and expire 12 months from issuance. Credits cannot be converted to cash or transferred between accounts.
